The Hampton Guide
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Hampton, Virginia, (where I was born and raised ) is one of the oldest continuous English-speaking settlements in the United States, founded in 1610. Nestled along the Chesapeake Bay, it played a significant role in early American history and is home to Fort Monroe, once known as the “Gibraltar of the Chesapeake.”
Today, Hampton blends its rich heritage with modern attractions, including the Virginia Air & Space Science Center and the scenic Buckroe Beach. The city also hosts events and festivals year-round, celebrating arts, music, and local culture. Outdoor lovers can enjoy kayaking, fishing, and waterfront trails, while families explore interactive museums and historic landmarks. With its coastal charm and vibrant community, Hampton offers a little something for everyone.

Hampton September Market Update
How was the market in August for Hampton?
Hampton, numbers are looking pretty good in the real estate market for you!
While house prices are not going down active inventory is on the rise with 392 houses currently available to purchase as of Feb 2nd when I pulled the report.
Buyers- Days on market has increased to 38 days which means you have a little more time to shop, UNLESS it is a hot property, those are still moving fairly quickly!
Sellers- Just because days on market has increased doesn't mean your home has to sit that long before it sells. Be sure to heed the advice of your real estate agent and ask them what their strategy is to sell the home!
